Tokyo - Day 1

Over my summer vacation, I took a little solo trip to Tokyo. I'd been there in the past, but it was only for about a day and a half. I figured it was worth a proper trip. I planned out all kinds of nerdy/strange things to do. Other than the fact that it was blazing hot the entire time I was there, it was a pretty amazing trip. I took a ton of pictures, so this will be another trip that is divided up into a few posts.


Akihabara

( It was a great Brazilian barbecue place. )

( I thought it was entertaining that this meaty dish was called PETA. )

( The two small steaks were amazing. It's nice that they cook on your plate, and you can eat them when you're good and ready. )

( I ordered a beer from this restaurant, but the owner still yelled at me for having an empty beer can in his establishment. Whoops. )

Shinjuku - Robot Restaurant

The Robot Restaurant in Shinjuku was incredible. It's absolute madness. Nothing made sense at all, but there were robots, drumlines and dinosaurs, and it is all performed cabaret-style. AMAZING!

Wyatt & Ellen have the unique situation of having birthdays that are quite close to one another. For their joint birthday party, they got their friends together and planned a night out in Gangnam. We went for brick oven pizza, drinks at Woodstock and hookah at Rainbow Room. It was a nice night out.
