Latin American Festival
2015.09.12 @ 한선대입구역 [Hanseong University]
A few weeks back, I was invited to join Evelynn and Nick for a trip into Seoul to experience the Latin American festival. It was a lot of fun. We watched performances, ate delicious food, drank sangria, and even danced a little bit.
( Evelynn )
( Some ladies cooking up chorizo sandwiches )
( An old man enjoying some food )
( Some vendors )
( The courtyard outside the station where the festival was held was actually quite small. It was kind of neat how cram packed everything was. )
( We ended up waiting in the line to have chorizo sandwiches. They were phenomenal. )
( Evelynn couldn't resist! )
( Neither could this child. )
( Some ambassadors from Latin American countries came to show their support. )
( These women served up some delicious sangria. )
( We all enjoyed it quite a bit. )
( Nick & Evelynn )
( Many students approached Evelynn as a part of some sort of Spanish class project. )
( They all interviewed her in Spanish. )
( Myself & Evelynn )
( Some more treats )
( Koreans, doing traditional Mexican dances )
( They were pretty good. We had fun watching this. )
( They had quite colorful dresses. )
( This was the event's hype guy. )
( He was a hoot! )
( The wait for this guy's empanadas was over an hour. )
( Luckily, Nick waited in line for us. )
( It's okay, because I bought beers while he waited. )
( The three of us )
( Some group dancing )
( This little old lady was having the time of her life. )
( Another group shot )
( A couple in the beer drinking competition )
( Some more competitors )
( This little group did a great job of supplying entertainment. )
( This guy was showing his support for globalization! )
( The global guy and the hype guy )
( The crowd at the festival )
( Afterwards, we went for 닭갈비. )
( That meal never disappoints. )
