맥주짱 - Pajang-dong's Self Bar

맥주짱 [Maekju Jjang]
2015.09.11 @ 수원 파장동 [Suwon Pajang-dong]

We frequently go out for dinner in Pajang-dong, because it's right by the homestead, but we don't really go out for drinks in that neighborhood. This time, we went to the self bar out there. There's a good selection of beer for reasonable prices. It was a nice night out.

맥주클럽 - A Local Darts Bar

맥주클럽
2015.09.03 @ 성대 [Sungkyunkwan University in Suwon]

Going out to the Beer Club for darts has become a regular Thursday night gathering for all the coworkers from Lykeion. Although I never win, I always have a great time. It's in a fun neighborhood that's not too far from home.

Yongsan Excursion

Arcades & Soju Tents
08/19/2012 @ 용산역 [Yongsan]

Justin is back in full force! We saw him on Friday night at 주락 [Jurak] for some beers, then, he we met Chelsea & Justin in 용사 on Sunday for some arcade action and beers in a soju tent. It's good to have that friend back in country.

How to get to Yongsan Station [용산역]:
Method 1: Yongsan Station [용산역] (Seoul Subway Line 1 & Jungang Line [중앙산]) - Exit 1

The station exits directly into a mall / shopping center. You will find all kinds of things in here, or you can go out side the main entrance [Exit 1] and walk down the stairs and across the street. About 50 meters down the street on the right are a whole bunch of soju tents.

Method 2: Sinyongsan Statoin [신용산역] (Seoul Subway Line 4) - Exit 3
Exit the station and walk for about one minute. Take your first right turn. After you turn, you will notice the mass of soju tents on your left, but if you continue walking straight, you will see Yongsan Station [용산역] directly in front of you. Walk straight for 2 minutes and cross the street, and you're there.

Boryeong [보령] 2012

Boys Weekend
06/23~24/2012 @ 보령 [Boryeong Beach]

This past weekend, we decided to take a boys weekend. The plans were made at the last minute, on Thursday, at work. It came together nicely, and turned out to be a pretty great weekend with JC, Josh & Erik. We camped right near the beach and spent most of the weekend in a beer/makgeolli haze.
